My sweet Loki boy passed away 14th of June, 2024. He was born in july 2012, and lived a long happy life. Some of his favorite pastimes were: collecting sticks, ripping up cardboard boxes, barking loudly at large bodies of water, snoring, pretending to not hear me when I call his name, napping on me while I play video games on the couch, roasting himself in patches of sun, and playing with old socks and bra’s as they were the only “toys” made out of fabric that he wouldn’t immediately try to rip to shreds (very sustainable of him, Loki was an environmentally conscious dog).
He was strong, energetic and full of life to the very end. I’m grateful that I got to have him by my side throughout my entire 20’s. It feels appropriate to have a page dedicated to him on my website as I’ve personally been plugged in to the interweb since 2004 and Loki has been posted online since the second he was introduced to me.
It’s strange to not hear the clack of his nails on the hardwood floors, or him snoring and twitching in his dog bed. He will be greatly missed and will live on forever in not just my heart, but in the hearts of everyone who knew him, both those in real life and those online.
